Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Waitrose all have food recall warnings on items sold in their branches. This is the full list of affected products.

Tesco

Tesco 16 Spicy Chorizo Slices 80 grams

The supermarket giant has issued a recall on its own brand chorizo product.

This is because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

This can cause symptoms similar to the flu including sickness, muscle pain and a high temperature.

The affected batches have the best before date of December 19, 2020.

The retailer issued advice for anyone who has bought the product.

It stated: “Don’t consume the affected product. Instead, please return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.

“Use our store locator to find your nearest Tesco. If you’re currently self-isolating, please contact Tesco Customer Services on 0800 505 555 to arrange a refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

Asda

Plant Based Loaded Potato Skins 262 grams

The supermarket giant has issued a warning as the product contains milk which is not listed on the label.

This could cause a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constitutes.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) website says: “Asda is recalling a single date code of Plant Based Loaded Potato Skins because the product contains milk which is not mentioned on the label.

“This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. The product has passed its ‘use by’ date, however it is suitable for home freezing.”

The affected item has the best before date of November 12, 2020.

Anyone who has the product in their freezer and has an intolerance to milk can return it to their nearest store.

Shoppers will get a full refund and they do not need their receipt for the return.

Morrisons and Waitrose

Guinness Draught 0.0 percent

The non-alcoholic drink has been recalled by Diageo Great Britain due to the presence of mould.

The FSA stated: “This product may contain mould. Mould does not usually cause food poisoning, however, the FSA would advise against consuming visibly mouldy foods because the presence of mould might make the food unsafe.”

Shoppers should check for 440ml Can 6×4 packs with best before dates of August 9, 2021, August 17, 2021 and August 24, 2021.

It is sold in Morrisons and Waitrose stores and customers can return the item to where it was bought for a full refund.
